Biography

Joshua Anthony Reaves is a recent graduate of Florida State University, where he earned his BFA in Acting in May 2026. During his time at FSU, Joshua distinguished himself as a dynamic and versatile performer, bringing depth and authenticity to roles such as Cory in Fences, Boy in Dragons Love Tacos, and Ensemble in Something Rotten. His work reflects a strong commitment to storytelling that resonates with audiences on both emotional and intellectual levels.

Beyond theatre, Joshua is an accomplished and passionate dancer. As a dedicated member of the Strikers Dance Troupe, he served as both President and Rehearsal Director, leading with creativity, discipline, and vision. His performance experience extends beyond collegiate stages, having danced alongside major artists including T-Pain and A$AP Rocky, further showcasing his range as a performer.

Joshua also expanded his training internationally at Theatre Academy London, where he honed his craft and deepened his artistic perspective. His talent and dedication have earned him notable recognition, including being named a 2022 Miami Herald Silver Knight in Drama and a Legacy Magazine 40 Under 40: Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow honoree.
